This is one mighty role needing some big shoes to fill it!! But boy will it be rewarding.
Our client’s is the MD is a high profile individual with a hugely successful career within this field.
He is meticulous about all things so needs someone with an acute eye for detail. He is looking for a right hand person who will want to get to know the business inside out and be able to assist him in more than a PA capacity. You will need to be able to evaluate incoming emails and telephone calls and deal with them in context of the MDs forthcoming plans. Being totally proactive and underpinning this gentleman is key to the success of this role.
He in turn is a fun, inspirational and rewarding person to work for. He is a family man who needs someone to run a diary that allows him to spend evenings with his family and in turn this translates to very little out of hours work for the successful candidate.
Whilst their head office is in London you will be required to meet him at another site at least twice a week so a driving licence and your own transport would be preferable although their second site is close to a station
Hours here are pretty standard 8.30 – 6.00 but with a degree of flexibility when needed.
Warm and welcoming, you will show ability to be in control, ability to be a first line of defence and deal with things with autonomy. You will be intelligent and business focussed ideally of graduate calibre. You will have worked in large international blue chip organisations and understand the complexities of working for an MD in charge of a company within a company. You should be used to giving full in depth support You must be used to working for a perfectionist who is relentless in his pursuit of furthering the already great brand reputation this company has.
